How I work with Insurance:

While I do not offer direct billing to your insurance company, I have partnered with Mentaya- a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you qualify, Mentaya will file claims, and handle all of the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed!

Mentaya finds it is possible for some clients to receive anywhere from 60-80% reimbursement back on therapy.

Mentaya takes away the hassle and worry of working with insurance for reimbursement. Learn more about your out-of- network benefits and possible reimbursement rates immediately by scrolling below.

I want to ensure you have easy access to all information before choosing to invest in therapy services with me.

You also have the option to receive a super-bill from me that you can directly submit to your insurance provider to be reimbursed for out of network benefits.

I encourage you to call your insurance company to ask about your out of network benefits, deductibles, and what percentage your insurance company will reimburse you.

MENTAYA IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF:

• Have out-of-network benefits

• Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance

• Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement

• Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

1. Sign Up for Mentaya Here

2. I will enter your sessions into the platform.

3. Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.

4. You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

ACCESSIBILITY & SLIDING SCALE OPTIONS

As a therapist, I believe in building a stable and sustainable practice so I can continue to offer consistent, high-quality care.I know that financial barriers can make it hard to get the support you need — and I don’t believe cost should stand in the way of healing and growth.

That's why I offer a number of sliding scale slots. A sliding scale means that the fee for therapy is adjusted based on your financial situation, making services more affordable for those who need it. If you're interested in working together but are concerned about cost, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about current availability for sliding scale pricing. I’m happy to talk with you about options.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

  • You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care

  • provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can

  • dispute the bill.
